Austin Chess Club

The club meets every Sunday night. Doors open 6:00pm, tournament play starts 6:30pm unless otherwise noted.

	Annual Membership Dues are $30.00/year, with various Trial and Family membership options available. The Club offers regularly-scheduled USCF-rated tournaments as well as the opportunity to play single rated games when members are available. 	Club Schedule:
Aug 15	Late Summer Unrated G/5 Number of rounds based on turnout, G/5 with 2 sec. delay per move. EF:$5.00 for all. One section. All entries returned as prizes.
Aug 22	Fischer Random Unrated G/15 6 rounds, G/15 with 3 sec. delay per move. All boards start with same position each round, determined randomly by TD. EF: $5.00 for all. Two sections: Open (open to all) and U1600 (open to players rated < 1600). All entries returned as prizes. Click here to see a page covering the rules of Fischer Random. Aug. 29	USCF-Quick-Rated G/29. 4 rounds, G/29 with 3 sec. delay per move. EF: $10.00 for all. Two sections: Open (open to all) and U1800 (open to players rated < 1800). USCF-membership required.

Sept. 12, 19, 26, Oct. 3	Back to Normal Swiss 4 rounds, G/90 with 60 sec. inc. per move. EF: ACC members: $15, others $25. Two sections: Open: (open to all) and U1800 (for players rated < 1800). USCF-membership required.
Jan. 7-9, 2011	1st Annual Austin Chess Club Championships. 5 round Swiss, 3 sections. $2100 prize fund, ALL prizes guaranteed. Click here for details!
